OBITUARY
Elizabeth Ada CHATFIELD, aged 70 years, of Coonabarabran, died at Coonabarabran on July 23. Born at Dubbo, deceased was a daughter of John Hatfield, a well known stockman of Gilgandra. Her husband predeceased her 42 years ago. Two children survive, Messrs. William and David CHATFIELD, of Coonabarabran. Interment took place in the Church of England section of the Coonabarabran cemetery. Dr. Docker officiating at the grave-side in the absence of the Rev. J. Tredwell. Mr. J. Harper carried out the funeral arrangements.

Does anyone have any info on the maori woman who came to oz i think she was a hatfield that married a chatfield from coonabarabran i think it was in the late 1800s im in nz and would be able to track down our maori relatives.
