Alaska homemaker Charlotte Elizabeth Rice, 92, died Jan. 6 at the Mary Conrad Center. A funeral was in El Cajon, Calif. Burial was in the El Cajon Cemetery.
Mrs. Rice was born Nov. 2, 1899, in Wallingford, Conn. She had resided in Alaska since 1986. She is survived by her sons, Lynnwood of Wichita Falls, Texas, and William of Harvard, Mass.; her daughter, Shirley Anderson of Wasilla; her sister, Bessie Rider of Westfield, Mass.; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
