James Richardson, whose daughter Mary Anne married William Pearless of East Grinstead in 1837, also attended Countess of Huntingdon's Chapel, Mt.Ephraim, Tunbridge Wells; Henry had been a Trustee of the Will of James's father John. His Estate included property at Rotherfield; beneficiaries his 4 children.

Being a minor, her father James Richardson gave his consent to her marriage; he was also a witness, as were W.Aviolet and Susanna Aviolet, her aunt. She signed the register as Mary Anne.
