David was but twelve years of age when he came to Michigan where he and his parents lived in Washtenaw County for two years, and in Feb. of 1838, they settled in Sunfield township, Eaton County.
In 1854 he married Miss Huldah Thompson of Sebewa Twp., Ionia Co., daughter of Albert and Amy (Pool) Thompson.
