MINISTER DIES AT FRANKFORT; RITES TUESDAY

Rev. Drury Chatfield Expires Saturday

Frankfort, Ind., Mar .10 -- (Tribune Special) -- Funeral services for the Rev. Drury L. Chatfield, 50, evangelist of the Nazarene church and one of the city's best known men, will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Church of the Nazarene, with the Rev. J. B. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Bunnell cemetery.

The Rev. Mr. Chatfield died Saturday morning at his home, 601 East Jefferson street, of complications following a blood clot in his left leg.

Born in Burlington, O., July 22, 1889, he came to Frankfort in January, 1921, and established an interior decorating business in which his sons were later associated with him. He was ordained a minister in 1921 and was a successful evangelist, noted in the city and community for his kindness and assistance at the time of illness in homes, regardless of creeds.

On Oct. 6, 1912, he married Nellie Ruggles, who survives with two sons, Paul of Los Angeles, Calif., and Howard of Frankfort; two daughters, Mrs. Mary K. Morris, Muncie, and Flora Ruth, at home; also his mother, Mrs. Katherine Chatfield, Elkhart and two brothers, The Rev. Chauncey C. Chatfield, Elkhart, and the Rev. R. W. [Ralph Wesley] Chatfield of Owosso, Mich.
