Eula was born in Delaware County, Ohio on November 20, 1915. The family moved to Fair Oaks, CA in 1957 then to El Dorado County in 1978. She worked in food services and hospital laundry services for 20 years. Eula was a member of Federated Church in Placerville, was active in senior services programs and volunteered at the Marshall Hospital Auxilary. She loved reading books, sewing and crocheting and was a loyal fan of the San Francisco Giants.
