Nancy Delores Gattis
Nancy Delores Gattis, of Riverton, died Thursday, Nov. 6, 2014, at her home. She was 80 years old.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 14, at the United Methodist Church in Riverton followed by lunch at the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Club, 404 E. Fremont Ave.

Nancy Delores (Bodan) Gattis was born Jan. 6, 1934, in Lander, the daughter of Joseph and Audrey Bodan. She had a brother, Emerson Bodan, and a sister, Barbara Clark.

On Nov. 5, 1952, she married Charles Gattis in Jackson. They moved around the state while he worked various jobs. They settled in Lander for six years before moving to Jackson where they raised their children and had a construction business. They had five children: …..

In 1985, they moved to Montana where they had a ranch. They eventually moved back to Wyoming, living in Dubois, Lander and Riverton.

She spent many years traveling to rodeos with her husband, children and grandchildren. She and her husband made many friends over the years, and her family said they treasured them all. They said she loved her garden and flowers, and she spent many hours making her yard a showplace. They also said she was also a wonderful cook and was always baking treats to give away.

Her family said they will remember the unconditional love she showed them all. They said family always came first for her, and she was a "gem of all gems."
