RANDOLPH CENTER - Paul W. Chatfield, 96, of Randolph Center, died Friday, May 22, 2015, at Rowan Court Healthcare in Barre.
He was born Oct. 6, 1918, in Bethel, the son of Will A. and Abbie May (Whitney) Chatfield. He attended East Bethel school and graduated from South Royalton High School in 1938.
Mr. Chatfield had worked in maintenance at the Veterans Hospital in White River Junction for 19 years until retiring in 1971.
Survivors include his wife, Lillian Chatfield of Northfield; and sons, John R. Chatfield of Rutland and Fred A. Chatfield of Bethel.
His brother, Carl Chatfield, died in 1991.
Graveside services with military honors will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 28, at Fairview Cemetery in Bethel, with the Rev. Thomas Harty officiating.
