Virginia Darline Lewis, 89, of Ashland, died Tuesday, September 6, 2011, in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Phillip Lewis Sr.; sister, Helen Mayberry Waddell; and two nephews, Charles Waddell and Stephen Russell Waddell.
She was a homemaker and a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Ashland.
Surviving are one son, Ray Phillip Lewis Jr. of Ashland; one daughter and son-in-law, Janet Lewis and Dr. Jon Walz of Ashland; two grandchildren, Erica Stutter and Patricia Waugh of Ashland; three great-grandsons, Logan Marcum, Barry M. Adkins III and Parker Adkins, all of Ashland; one nephew, Paul and Teresa Waddell of Grayson; and two nieces, Beverly Kay Waddell and Marty Ison of Olive Hill and Mary Cathryn and James Farr of Wurtland.
