George David Skutt, 83, of Skaneateles, passed away peacefully Sunday at home. Born in the town of Elbridge, Dave was a 1950 graduate of Elbridge High School. He lived in Skaneateles for the last 58 years. Dave was a park's supervisor with Onondaga County, retiring in 1989 after 35 years of service.
He was predeceased by his wife, Joyce in 2010. Surviving are two sons, David (Laurie) Skutt of Auburn, Tom (Minnie) Skutt of Syracuse; two daughters, Debby Hofmann of St. Johnsville and Renee Jerva of Rochester and four grandchildren, Kerry, Aaron, Rebecca and Joseph.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Thomas Bell officiating.
