Oliver J. Chatfield, 73, of Manchester, NH, died Thursday, October 5, 2006. Born in Flushing, NY on August 9, 1933, he was the son of Oliver S. and Ruth (Hall) Chatfield. He resided in Manchester before moving to Manchester, NH in 2000. During the Korean War, Mr. Chatfield served with the United States Marine Corps. Mr. Chatfield was a principal as well a junior high school teacher in a number of school districts. His last position, before his retirement, was as a teacher at Bennett Junior High School, Manchester.

Family members include two daughters, Kathy Carrroll of Chichester, NH and Eileen MacLean of Manchester, NH; two sons, Scott Chatfield of Bedford, NH, and Brian Chatfield of Manchester, NH; four grandchildren; two sisters, Grayce Landes of Des Peres, MO and Lois Chatfield of Manchester, NH; his brother, Harold Chatfield of Manchester, NH.
