43. James Chatfield was born in 1580 in Rumboldswyke, Sussex West, England. James was a citizen and fishmonger of London. He was named in the wills of his uncle George in 1599/1600 and of his brother Francis in 1627.

James Chatfield and Joan / Joane Simmett / Simnett were married about 1605. Joan / Joane Simmett / Simnett, daughter of Richard Simmett and ? ?, was born about 1584. She died after 1642 at the age of 58.

James Chatfield and Joan / Joane Simmett / Simnett had the following children:

100	ii.	James Chatfield was born about 1608 in England.
