January 28, 1985 ~ May 9, 2013"She was a very loving person who had fun and enjoyed spending time with family and friends." Melissa Marie Chatfield, 28, of Vancouver, Washington, passed away on May 9, 2013, just four days after her grandfather "Pa". She was born January 28, 1985 to Robyn (Shelton) Mays and Harvey Chatfield, Jr. Melissa was born with a heart defect, Pulmonary Tricuspid Artresia, and fought hard against the obstacles she faced. She tried to live as normal a life as possible under the circumstances. Melissa loved animals, especially her dogs, Morgan and Ellie, and cat, Jasmine. She also loved riding motorcycles and quads, camping, trips to the beach, and fishing. She was a faithful fan of the WWE, her favorite wrestler was Randy Orton. Melissa is survived by her mother and step-father, Robyn and Scott Mays; father, Harvey; sister, Meladi and her fiancé, David; step-brother, Forrest and his girlfriend, Amanda; aunt and uncle, Roxann and Craig Browning; aunts, Deb and Nancy; uncles, Todd and Fred; cousins, Justin Shelton and his girlfriend, Kristen, Hannah Mays, Brenda and Tony; grandmother, Pearl Shelton; grand- parents, Ralph and Donna Mays; her boyfriend of ten years, Dustin Wright; as well as many friends. "We will all miss you "Missy" ~ all of our love!" Graveside services for Melissa were held at Evergreen Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 in Vancouver, Washington.
