Arthur P. "Phil" Morris III, 71, Greentown, went to be with his Lord and Savior at 7:02 a.m. Friday, July 26, 2013 at Community Howard Regional Health System.
He was born October 16, 1941 in Muncie, Indiana the son of Arthur P. Jr. & Mary Kay (Chatfield) Morris. On December 1, 1962 in Fairmount, Indiana he married Karen Sue (King) Morris, who preceded him in death August 5, 2010.
Phil was a 1959 graduate of Young America High School. He worked for Public Service Indiana until founding Morris Soft Water of Greentown. Phil was an active member of Christian Life Fellowship and had been a member of the Full Gospel Business Men. He loved his family and enjoyed attending his grandchildren's sporting events. He also enjoyed growing a garden each year and camping.
Phil is survived by his children, Kim and Andy Weaver, Stacy and Brian Hamilton, Stephanie and Donnie Dykes, Cathy and Larry Goins; grandchildren, Josh & Kaiden Weaver, Christopher Hamilton, Amanda (Hamilton) Kaiser and husband Reed, Whitney and Sarah Dykes, Tristan (Dykes) Honeas and her husband Kris, and Travis Goins; great grandchildren, Mason, Morgan, Evan and Aaron Kaiser, Nikki, Narissa and Jaylin Gibbons and Jaydin Goins; sister and brother-in-law, Sonja and Jim Gotshall; brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Debbie Morris. He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Mary Kay Morris and his wife of 48 years, Sue Morris.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at Christian Life Fellowship, 1009 Holiday Drive, Greentown, with Pastor Gary Hoover and Rev. James Cline officiating.

Karen Sue Morris, 68, Greentown, went to be with the Lord at 12:29 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 5, 2010, in Tulsa, Okla., where she had traveled for medical treatment.

Funeral services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Christian Life Fellowship, 1009 Holiday Drive, Greentown, with Pastor Gary Hoover and Rev. James Cline Officiating. Burial will follow in Albright Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the church.
