Bertha A. O'Bryan, 79, a resident of Follett Road, Martville, died Wednesday, Jan 8, 2003 at home.
Mrs. O'Bryan was born in Hannibal June 30, 1923. She was a daughter of George and Viola E. (Bessy) Libby (Libbey). She was a life resident of the area and was an avid bingo player.
She was predeceased by her husband, Richard H. O'Bryan Sr., who died August 28, 1981 (1971).
Surviving are two daughters, Yvonne (Dean) Fillingham of Martville and Evelyn Holbert of Groton; six sons, Richard (Cindi) O'Bryan of Red Creek, Dale (Mary) O'Bryan of Auburn, Francis (Mary) O'Bryan of Martville, George (Jeanette) O'Bryan of Granby, Mickey (Tammy) O'Bryan of Martville, and Mark (Harriet) O'Bryan of Hannibal; one sister, Leah Hall of Newark, Valley, N.Y.; 29 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held Saturday at the Young & Son Funeral Home. Spring burial will be in Fairdale Cemetery.
