Services For Early Day Roy Homesteader
Held Thursday Afternoon From Creel Chapel.
Many old time friends and relatives gathered at the Creel chapel Thursday afternoon to pay their last tributes of love and respect to the memory of William Henneman, long time resident and early-day homesteader of the Roy section, who died last Monday at the age of 66 years.

The Rev. W. S. Traweek of the Methodist church conducted the services during which Mrs. Katheryn Gove Scott, accompanied by Mrs. Richard Lausch, sang, "Rock of Ages," and "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere."

Burial was made in the city cemetery. with the following old-time friends of the deceased and his family acting as casket-bearers; Roy Gordon of Wilder; John and Herbert Beck of Roy, Matt Blum and George Westerman of Lewistown and Lawrence Kauth of Roy.

William Henneman was born in Sheridan, OH, March 21, 1872. He later moved to Jellico, Tenn. In 1914 he came to Montana and took up a homestead 25 miles northeast of Roy where he resided until last fall when owing to ill health he moved in to Lewistown to be under a doctor's care.

He was a former member of the Odd Fellows lodge in Jellico, Campbell, TN.

Beside the widow, Nancy Henneman he leaves to mourn his passing four sons and one daughter, Ralph and Lloyd, living in California, Raymond of Mecaha, Carl, residing in Washington and Mrs. Leonard Ellis of Lewistown. One son preceded him in death. He is also survived by two brothers, John and Frank, both of Jellico, and four sisters, Mrs. Louise Gross of Middleton, Kentucky, Mrs. May Cole and Stella Henneman of Columbus, OH, and Mrs. Grubb of Ironton, Lawrence, OH.
