3107. Frederick Alfred Sperry was born on 16 October 1863 in New Haven, New Haven Co., Connecticut, USA. He died on 17 February 1931 at the age of 67 in Oak Park, Cook Co., Illinois, USA. Frederick A. Sperry, prominent advertising man, one of the founders of Critchfield & Co., advertising agency, died of pneumonia yesterday at the West Suburban hospital in Oak Park.

Mr. Sperry was 67 years old and a native of Connecticut. He moved to Janesville Wis., about 1890, and came to Chicago two years later. In 1892 he helped form the Critchfield company. He was a member of the Chicago Athletic club and lived at 125 Clinton avenue, Oak Park.

Funeral services will be held from the First Presbyterian church of Oak Park at 2:30 p. m. tomorrow. Burial will be in Forest Home cemetery. Surviving Mr. Sperry are his widow, Mrs. Grace Draper Sperry, and three children, Mrs. Jeanette R. Slocum of Boston, and Frederick L. and Donald B. Sperry.

Services for Mrs. Grace Draper Sperry, 83, widow of Frederick A. Sperry, one of the founders of Critchfield & Co., Chicago advertising agency, will be held in Winchester, Mass., tomorrow. Mrs. Sperry, who had lived in Winchester with her daughter, Mrs. Wayne B. Thompson, died Saturday. Two sons, Frederick L. Sperry of Detroit and Donald D. Sperry of River Forest, also survive.
