Martin Philip Soule(Phil)served proudly in the US Army during WWII in the South Pacific including Pearl Harbor and Iwo Jima. Son of Martin Cleveland Soule and Marguerite A. Haskins Soule. Married Barbara J. Glassford Soule and had 5 children: Jeanne M., Rhesa M. & Renee M.(twins), Jacqueline E., and Roger P.. At a young age living in Cincinnatus NY when not playing baseball or soccer he worked in his Grandfather's hardware store(Corning and Haskins). Later he went into the US Army during WWII in the Pacific Theater, worked for GLF and Agway as manager of the Wellsville PA store. His personality was colorful and he was well loved by family and friends including his long time companion Marie Wood Palmer. He descended from 1620 Mayflower passenger George Soule.
