Sue Chatfield Myers, born October 5, 1934 in High Splint, KY, went to be with the Lord on November 5, 2013. She grew up in Pleasant View, KY. She graduated from East Tennessee Baptist Hospital School of Nursing in 1956. She worked as a registered nurse from 1956 to 1990 in several areas, including the Polio Ward in Gary, IN, the Operating Room in Corbin, KY and ICU, CCU, Pediatrics, as a House Supervisor, and her passion was the Labor and Delivery Department and Nursery at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was devoted and loving to all of her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Luke Myers; her parents, Tom and Minnie (Bird) Chatfield; brother, Fred Chatfield; sisters, Loraine and Kenneth Burst, Martha Ravenna; and brother-in-law, Harold Taylor.

She is survived by two sons, Steve and wife Kathy and Bruce Myers; two daughters, Anita Barker and husband Allen, and Rebecca Morris and husband Mike. She has nine grandchildren, Matthew Myers and wife Lucretia, Ashlee Ivens and husband David, Katherine and Melanie Barker, Lauren, Summer, Anna, Mikah, and Luke Morris. She also has two great grandchildren, Landon and Lillian Myers. She is survived by a sister, Faye Taylor and a brother-in-law, Hal Ravenna; many nieces and nephews were also very special to her. She was an avid basketball fan and also enjoyed camping and cooking for friends and family.

Myra Sue Chatfield and Luke Myers were married about 1954 in USA. Luke Myers, son of Daniel M Myers and Iva / Ivy Emaline Sparks, was born on 5 February 1930 in Maryville, Blount Co., Tennessee, USA. He appeared in the census in 1940 in Civil District 8, Blount Co., Tennessee, USA. He died Lymphoma. on 20 February 2010 at the age of 80 in Maryville, Blount Co., Tennessee, USA. Luke Myers, born February 5, 1930, of Maryville went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at Colonial Hills after a two year courageous battle with Lymphoma. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and retired after 29 years of service from ALCOA. He was a devoted loving family man who was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Iva Emaline (Sparks) Myers; two brothers, Elmer Myers and wife Clara (Tipton) Myers and Albert Myers; sisters, Mary Matlock and Husband Bailey Matlock, Clemmie Gregory and husband Hase Gregory, Nola Cummings and husband Eulice Cummings; sister-in-law, Barbara (Law) Myers; brother-in-law, Carmon Jones.

He is survived by a loving and devoted wife, Sue Chatfield Myers of 56 years; two sons, Steve Myers and wife Kathy (Dockery) Myers, Bruce Myers and wife Sheila (Jones) Myers; two daughters, Anita Barker and husband Allen Barker, Rebecca Morris and husband Mike Morris. He has nine grandchildren, Matthew Myers and wife Lucretia, Ashlie Ivens and husband David, Katherine and Melanie Barker, Lauren, Summer, Anna, Mikah, and Luke Morris. He also has two great-grandchildren, Landon and Lillie Myers. He is survived by several siblings, identical twin brother, Mark Myers and special friend Ruth (Barb) Garner, Bob Myers and wife Sylvia (Sullivan) Myers, Dixie Walker and husband Max Walker, Velma Jones; sister-in-law, Louise (Barb) Myers. Many nephews and nieces were also special to him. He was also an avid basketball fan and enjoyed watching family play many ball games throughout the years. He also loved going to Cades Cove with his family and friends.
