Mrs Mary Jane Chatfield, wife of Truman M Kimball Esq of Rush Twp, was born in Urbana 4th October, 1823, and died in Kansas, near Junction City, at the residence of her daughter Mrs Howard on 25th June, 1884. She married James Hunter 12th February, 1844 by whom she had 2 sons, Robert D and William C Hunter, one of whom survives her. Mr Hunter died in 1856 and 3rd December, 1858, she married Truman M Kimball. Two children, a son and daughter, by this marriage survive her.

Mary Jane Chatfield and James I. C. Hunter were married on 12 February 1845 in Champaign Co., Ohio, USA. James I. C. Hunter died in November 1856 in Champaign Co., Ohio, USA.
