Mrs. Floyd Brossart 38, 208 West Fourth street, died Sunday at her home after an illness of several months. She was born at Nichols on June 23, 1907, the daughter of Walter Chatfield and Emma Kirchner. Her marriage to Floyd Brossart occurred on Jan. 4, 1927, in Muscatine.

Surviving are her husband; one son, Marlin Wayne, at home; two brothers, Carl Chatfield and Raymond Chatfield, both of Muscatine.

Her parents and one brother preceded her in death. The body is at the Ralph J. Wittich Funeral home where it will remain until Wednesday noon when it will be taken to Grace Lutheran church where services will be conducted Wednesday by the pastor, the Rev. David M. Funk.

BROSSART, Floyd F. 46 years, who had spent his entire life in Muscatine county, died at Bellevue hospital today. The son of August and Elizabeth Reeves Brossart, he was born in Muscatine county Nov. 11 1904 and married Alice Chatfield here on Jan. 4, 1927. Later he married Edna White at Iowa City on June 23, 1947.
He was engaged in farming and was formerly employed by the McKee Feed & Grain Company.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Edna Brossart; a son, Marlin Brossart and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. August Brossart, all of Muscatine, also two sisters, Mrs. Vernon Halling of Muscatine and Mrs. Harold Knoth of Davenport. His first wife and one brother preceded him in death.
Services will be at the Ralph J. Wittich Funeral home on Sunday. The Rev. August Aden of Ziegler Memorial Lutheran church of New Era will be in charge.
