PLATTEVILLE — Funeral services for Mrs. John Webb, 73, who died at her home in Platteville Saturday after a long illness, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Trinity Episcopal church. The Rev. Donald Heermans will officiate, with burial in Greenwood cemetery. The former Alice Wanamaker, she was born Feb. 8, 1869, in Platteville, and was a lifelong resident of the city. With her husband she recently observed their 64th wedding anniversary. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Curtis Thompson, Lamont; a son, Edward, Ft. Riley, Kan.; two sisters, Mrs. Vera Dunn, Madison, and Mrs. William Hough, Janesville; six grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

Alice Ann Wanamaker and John Henry Webb were married on 7 December 1885. John Henry Webb was born on 26 May 1866. He died on 3 July 1954 at the age of 88.
