He is survived by his wife of 62 years Margaret; a son Jim (Sandy) Chatfield; daughter Jayne (Mike) Koontz; sister Linda Long; special great-granddaughter Madison Wilkins; numerous other grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and others that called him Papaw of Park Layne.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-7 PM in the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME. Masonic services to honor Cecil will begin at 7:00 PM in the funeral home.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Chatfield; two brothers, Don & Abby Tibbs; and a sister, Betty Cremeans.

Visitation will be 6-8 PM Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio.
