Thirteenth Generation

2327. Jane Chatfield was born on 3 June 1826 in Marcellus, Onondaga Co., New York, USA. Hello Colin

I really don't know where Clark got his name from. There was also a
daughter Jane Chatfield born June 3, 1826 in Marcellus, Onondaga County,
New York. I have not been able to find any information on her. Her
name came from the Bible that I have. Some other researchers claim
that she married a John Cann and lived in Illinois. I have not followed
this lead as of yet.

Roxanna is only related to William Kelsey as he is her ancestor. She is
descended from Stephen Kelsey, William's son and Abagail's brother. All
of the other Kelsey's are on the Chatfield side.

Another problem that I found is you have Clark Chatfield's wives
reversered. Also his daugther Louise Catherine was married to a Thomas
Castleman and had one adopted son. I knew this lady growing up and knew
her as Aunt Lois. She was my grandmother's Aunt.

I am attaching my line from George Chatfield born in 1623/24. You
already have most of them on your website. You will see that I am
descended from Wellington Bessy.

I hope that I have not completely confused you. I am also descended
from Stephen Kelsey so that makes me a Kelsey descendant and a Chatfield
descendant.

Would you by any chance be related to John and Geraldine (North)
Chatfield from Camillus, New York
