Funeral Services For Homer Hooten Held Here Today

Last rites for Homer Y. Hooten, 68, of San Antonio were held at 3 p.m. today (Thursday) at the First Street Church of Christ with Minister Ben West officiating.
Mr. Hooten who was born in Lampasas and spent most of his life here, succumbed in Baptist Memorial Hospital of San Antonio Wednesday after an illness of 13 years. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Surviving are three sons, Warren and Earnest, both of San Antonio, and Louis of Houston.
Pallbearers were: George Schaub, Carl Cloud, ebert Lively, Max Jones, Dr. Jack Frank and Fred Peeler, all of Lampasas.
Interment was in Oak Hill Cemetery with Briggs-Gamel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
