"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful." 2 Timothy 4:7. Gloria died peacefully at her home in Mandeville, Sunday, May 17, 2015 at the age of 86. She was a former longtime resident and native of Baton Rouge. Gloria was a licensed practical nurse in Baton Rouge for over 50 years. She was widowed in 1954 by Hubert Richard Chatfield. She is survived by two daughters, Judith Kenyon and husband Leonard and Carol Hutchcraft and husband George; and through marriage, Elbridge Charlton, Jr. and wife Kerry, Juliana Clark, and Jack Weber; ten grandchildren, Bridgett, Bobby, Sarah, Jay Harper, Max, Tammie and husband Alan Wright, Michael Tullier and wife Kelly, Russell Ballard, Will Kenyon, and Jill Kenyon; great grandchildren, Kristen and husband Zack Abbott, Meagan Guillory, Emily Jones, Ashley Guillory, Chandler Part, Brittany Fletcher, Sam Tullier, Emma Grace Wright, Colton Ballard, Ty Tullier, Justin Ulisney, Joey Adams and wife Katie; and two great great grandchildren; Kassidy and Jace Abbott. Gloria was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Elbridge Charlton, Sr.; parents, Louise Alexandrine Parker and John M. Parker; and a great grandson Justin Guillory She was a mother to all animals in need, an avid Gaither Brothers fan, and a "Law and Order" enthusiast. Gloria loved spending time playing a good hand of Crazy 8's with her family. She was very much loved and will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends. Visiting will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government Street, Wednesday, May 20, 2015, from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Roselawn Memorial Park.
