WAITAKI OLD BOYS
There was a good attendance of members at the first annual meeting of the Waitaki Old Boys' Association this week. Mr. E. R. Dymock presided, and among those present was Mr. F. Milner, the rector of the school and patron of the association.
The annual report stated that the branch was now well established, and there was a credit balance of L9 12s on the year's workings. It was hoped, however, that there would be a membership campaign.
Officers for the ensuing year were elected as follow:'97 Chairman, Dr. W. J. H. Hislop; vice-presidents, Messrs. 'E. K. Dymock and A. T. Duncan; committee, Messrs. W. P. Pringle, V. B. Kainey, D. Grant, J. H. Torlesse, I. Macallan; hon, secretary, Mr. A. S. Curtis; hon, treasurer, Mr. A. W. Free; hon. auditor, Mr. B. M. Reid.
It was decided to hold the annual reunion dinner on a Friday night at an early date.
