LATE MR. A. M'DONALD The funeral of the late Mr. Alexander M'Donald, whose death occurred at Ger- aldton. where he has been a resident for some years, took place in the Methodist Cemetery, Karrakatta, on Friday afternoon, April 25, in the presence of a large gathering of friends. Deceased was a son of Mr. and Mrs. J. M'Donald. of West Midland, and leaves a widow, three sons and a daughter. The chief mourners were Mrs. A. M'Donald (widow), Leslie, Richard and Robert (sons), Elaine (daughter), Mr. and Mrs. J. M'Donald (father and mother), K., C, J., J. G., S. and K. M'Donald (brothers), Mr. and Mrs. F. T. Chatfield. The pall-bearers were Messrs. J. Hegney, E. Watson, W. Logue, R. Chatfield, W. Hille, W. R. Diggins. Amongst those present were Messrs, A. R. Davies, G. Pipe, F. M'Mahon, R. Duels, Mesdames T. Hille, F. M'Mahon, H. M'Carthy, Misses M. M'Carthy, M. Bourke, Logue, Menagh and many others. Wreaths were received from his wife and family, his mother, father and brothers. R. Ducas and Miss Logue, Mr. and Mrs. E. T. Chatfield and family, Mr. and Mrs. Hille and family, Doris and Keith, Hannah and family, and many others. The Rev. N. Inwood officiated at the graveside.
