He was united In marriage to Emmeline Dailey, they had one daughter Minerva Sickler, Sons, Emory Jacob Sickler and Miles sickler (Divorced) William married Matilda Emmeline Robinet June 10, 1844 In Clark, Mo. Holt County, To this union there were three Sons, Amon B. Sickler, William Merrett Sickler and George w. Sickler, and seven Daughters, Eliza Jane Deal ,Martha Ann Bailey, Nancy Elizabeth Fisk, Mary Emelene(Emma) McIntosh, Susan Belle Sickler.
Two Daughters preceded him In death, Maria at the age of four years old, died Jan. 5, 1857 and Hannah L. Sickler died at the age of five June 21, 1872. Both buried In Greenhills Cem. Rockport, Mo. William Sickler, also buried In Greenhills Cemetery, Rockport, Atchison CO.
