SEMAPHORE.-On the 1st January, 1929, the dwelling-house of WILLIAM FRANK CHATFIELD, Jervois Road, was feloniously entered and the following stolen:-A bedspread, pale-pink edges with blue and pink squares in centre; one bed sheet; two pillow slips; a pair of military hair brushes, L. Brown on backs, in fancy imitation crocodile skin case; a navy-blue single-breasted coat, has Kerrison, Semaphore, on tab; a navy-blue vest, has J. Chatfield on lining; a Regal portable gramophone in light oak case, has two pads inside with 'From Jean' thereon; a thermometer, used in connection with the -making of sweets, wooden handle with chain and hook; a black torch; an Onkaparinga rug, grey with black and white squares on one side, navy-blue with red squares on the other side; a black-handled carving fork; a white-handled carving fork; a black-handled carving knife; a black-handled steel; and sundries-total value about £19; identifiable.-(C.111.)
