Jackie Byron "Bud" Chatfield passed away on October 31, 1999, in Belleview, Missouri, at the age of 66. He was born on November 23, 1932 in Palmyra, Marion, Missouri, the son of the late Estes and Elizabeth Lowe Chatfield.

In February of 1976 he was united in marriage to Ina Akers who survives. Also surviving are six children: Michael Chatfield of Festus, Dennis Chatfield and Theresa Carr of Las Vegas, Karen Spezzano of Fort Meyers, FL, Cleve Jaycox and Andrew Jaycox of Belleview. Other survivors include a sister, Betty Torrence of Herculaneum, 14 grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Jackie was preceded in death by his parents and two sons, Ronnie Chatfield and Roger Jaycox.
Mr. Chatfield was a member of the First Baptist Church of Belleview, and he had lived there for many years. He was a retired employee of PPG in Crystal City, Missouri.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, November 2, 1999, at 11 a.m. from the Bryson Funeral Home with Rev. Don McGuire officiating. Interment was in the Roselawn Cem. in Crystal City, Missouri.
