Florence H. Ballew, born November 20, 1910, died of cancer on November 29, 1990, in the home of Robert and Janice Ballew, who had given her loving care for the last four months of her life. Our hearts are full of gratitude for their tireless devotion.

Florence joins her husband, "Tommy," who died August 5, 1990. Jointly, they founded Ballew's Welding & Trailer on South Tacoma Way in 1942. Florence faithfully "kept the books" for 30 years and shared in all the struggles and lean years of starting their own business.

We will always remember her kind and gentle spirit.

She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law Richard and Mary Ann Ballew, Robert and Janice Ballew, and son David; six grandsons; one granddaughter; sister, Mamie O'Neill, Neb.

Memorial service 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 5th in the Evergreen Chapel, New Tacoma Cemetery.
