Patsy Leota (Morris) Crosby was born on April 2, 1944 to Leo and Elvera (Chatfield) Morris in Belle Fourche, SD. She graduated from High School in Buffalo, WY. Patsy had a passion for cooking and saved every recipe that sounded interesting. She loved to collect Cook Books and enjoyed baking and canning. Patsy had many friends and she never met a stranger. She will be missed by many, especially her family.

Patsy is preceded in death by: her father, Leo Morris; mother and father-in-law, Ralph and Hazel Crosby; brother-in-law, Dale; sister-in-law, Myrna; and brother-in-law, Gene; as well as many other friends and family.

Patsy Leota Morris and Lee Allen Crosby were married on 8 July 1967 in Buffalo, Johnson Co., Wyoming, USA. Lee Allen Crosby was born on 2 June 1940 in Platte, Charles Mix Co., South Dakota, USA. He died on 4 January 2017 at the age of 76 in Platte, Charles Mix Co., South Dakota, USA. He was buried in Platte City Cmtry., Platte, Charles Mix Co., South Dakota, USA. Lee Allen Crosby, 76, of Platte, SD passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at Platte Care Center Avera. He was born in Platte, S.D. on June 2, 1940, the third of nine children, to Ralph & Hazel (Fish) Crosby (daughter of Wallace Fish). In 1963, Lee joined the Army and was stationed in Frankfurt, Germany until his discharge in 1969.

On July 8, 1967, he married Patsy Morris in Buffalo, Wyoming. They were blessed with three children: Gary, Lynn and Scott. Lee was a very loving and caring father and would do whatever he could to support his family. He worked many jobs over his lifetime. Lee was a ranch hand at several ranches in Wyoming and South Dakota; he sheared sheep like his father in his spare time and worked for the Wyoming Highway Department for over 20 years, the City of Platte Maintenance Department and the US Army Corp of Engineers in Pickstown, SD.

Grateful for having shared in Lee’s life: son, Gary (Holly) Crosby of Pierre, SD, daughter, Lynn (Matt) Bishop of Rapid City, SD and son, Scott (Nellie) Crosby of Platte, SD; grandchildren: Taylor (Sara Dahlberg) Greany of Rapid City, SD and Hunter & Melody Crosby of Platte, SD; step grandchildren: Kellen & Lindsay Tull of Paulina, IA. Also surviving Lee are: Sharon (Dale) Crosby of Weeping Water, NE, Lyle Crosby of Mills, WY, Rhonda (Gene) Crosby of Stevensville, MT, Wayne & Anita Crosby of Platte, SD, Russ (Myrna) Van Voorst of Luverne, MN, Ron & Lois Smook of Mankato, MN, Rudy & Glenda Nielsen of Missoula, MT, Dave & Willy Rolston of Lolo, MT; along with many nieces and nephews.

Lee is preceded in death by: wife, Patsy Crosby (Oct. 25, 2015); parents, Ralph & Hazel Crosby; mother & father-in-law, Elvera & Leo Morris; brothers: Dale and Gene Crosby; sister, Myrna Van Voorst; as well as many other friends and family.
