Albert was the son of William Hayden Chatfield and Mary Ann Disney. He took over the operation of the Chatfield Paper Company when his father died. And like his father, Albert died while on a business trip to New York. Albert was married to Helen Fletcher Huntington who survived him by over 30 years. They also had a summer home in Maine.
