Levi and Lemuel Chatfield, twin brothers, enlisted to fight against the French on the northern border. Lemuel was killed at Lake George, and Levi died at his home in Derby from injuries received in service (French and Indian War) at Lake George, New York; severely wounded Sep 30, 1758
