Besides her husbands, she was predeceased by her sisters, Olive Dawson and Helen Provost, and brother George, who died in infancy. Mr. Verdini had been employed as a Draftsman and Checker for Pratt and Whitney Aircraft in Windsor and North Haven for 18 years and was also employed by the Disney Company of Orlando, Florida for 6 years until his retirement. He was a 50 year member of the Masons and was a 32nd Degree Mason with the Washington Lodge No 70 A. F. & A. M. of Windsor and a member of the Yalesville Untied Methodist Church. Besides his wife Elizabeth, he is survived by his three sons, James Verdini and his wife Laurie of Brown Summit, NC, Joel Verdini and his wife Carol of Windham, ME and Les Forbes and his wife Dena of Wallingford; his daughter, Wendy Forbes of North Haven; his four grandchildren, Elizabeth Forbes, Seth Forbes, Allison Verdini and Robert Verdini and his great granddaughter, Emily Vince. Masonic Services were held in The Yalesville United Methodist Church by the Washington Lodge, No 70, Ancient Free and Accepted Masons. Funeral Services followed. |
