LAWRENCE O'BRIEN, about 51, postmaster at McDunn and manager of McDunn store No. 8 of Koppers Coal company, died Monday evening of pneumonia at the home of his son, Lawrence O'Brien, Jr. of Alloy.
The deceased had been ill but a short time. His body was taken to the Simpson mortuary.
Mr. O'Brien was dean of the Powellton field store managers having been in the service of Koppers stores longer than any other employee of the neighborhood. His wife died about three years ago.
Last rites are to be held at one o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the Christian church of Montgomery. The Rev. F. F. Williams is to officiate. Burial is to be in Sunset Memorial Park.
Besides the son survivors include three sisters, Mrs. C. J. Casdorph, Mrs. M. M. McIntosh, both of Ronceverte, and Mrs. I. B. White of Huntington; one brother, Ernest O'Brien of Handley.
