Inez C. Faulkner, 92, of Ashland, died Monday March 19, 2012 at the Hospice Care Center in Ashland. She was born May 27, 1919, in Boyd County, a daughter of the late Marion and Elizabeth Bishop Carter.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Donald Faulkner;
brothers, Hayes, O.T. and Ivan Carter;
sisters, Mary Gold Carter, Magdalene Thompson Spears and Emma McCoy.

Inez was a long-time member of the Rose Hill Baptist Church where she was a member of the Charles Stewart Bible class.

She is survived by
nephews Ray McCoy, Billy McCoy and his wife Rita, Gary Keith McCoy, Roy Curtis Thompson and his wife Ellen;
nieces, Opal Turner, Ruby Lee Boster, Debbie Crites, Lois Thompson, Joyce Brammell and husband Leonard;
her special caregiver, Charlene Callihan.
