"The Fremont Grange, which had reorganized on January 16, 1913, appointed Bert Fields as its first Master. Fields, who was born in Rico, Colorado, had lived for several years in the Fremont area with his wife, Mary Ann (Davis), granddaughter of pioneer Harpin and Mary (Chatfield) Davis." [1915]
