Sussanna E. CHATFIELD, Old Resident of Cornwall, Dies.
Susanna E Chatfield widow of Nicholas Chatfield passed away at her home on Maple Ave, Tuesday afternoon February 3. The funeral services will be held at the residence tomorrow afternoon at half past two o'clock. Rev,Dr W.W. Page, rector of St john's officiating. The interment will be in the family plot, willow Dell cemetery under the direction of E. L Sylcox. Mrs Chatfield was born August 20, 1846, at Ticehurst county Sussex, England. Her maiden name was Susanna Harris. Five children survive: Mrs. Raymond King, Miss Edna CHATFIELD, Norman G CHATFIELD, Miss Florentine Chatfield and Mrs.Walter Babcock. Three of her children were at her bedside when she died. for three years she had suffered patiently and the closing hours of her life were the blessing of a Christian resignation. She was a member of the Episcopal Church and an active member all her life. In Cornwall Mrs. Chatfield has been a ministering angel in the home of sorrow, sickness and distress for many years and she contributed comfort, support and happiness wherever her presence was required.
