Sheiwseniunkuct is dead! Mr S., better known as William CHATFIELD, a venerable Indian, died at his home in Oregon, Lapeer Co., on the 14th instant of heart disease. For many years this son of the aborigines had trod the wilds of Lapeer and Macomb, most of his life having been spent in these two counties. He was about 75 years of age and belonged to the Chippewa tribe, of which there were many members in this vicinity in days gone by, but time has reduced the members to a scanty few, and a decade hence the voice of the noble red man will be hushed for ever in Lapeer county - at least a considerable majority of it. Lo, the poor Indian.
