News Death Notice

WASNER, Nancy L. 97, of Springfield passed away Friday, August 7, 2015 in the Springfield Regional Medical Center. Nancy was born December 21, 1917 in Clark County, Ohio, the daughter of the late E. Douglas and Nellie (Brewer) Luse. She worked several years at Crowell Collier and was co-owner of Wasner Sales and Services. Nancy volunteered at the Information Desk at Mercy Medical Center for over 25 years. She was a member at Northridge United Methodist Church. Survivors include, her two daughters, Sandy Wasner of Springfield and Bonnie (Ed) Chatfield of South Charleston; two granddaughters, Kim (Mark) Lemmon of Cardington, Ohio and Kelly (Evan) Hahn of Perrysville, Ohio; two great-granddaughters, Linde and Clare Hahn and two nephews, Eddie (Joyce) Luse and Donnie Luse. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl E. Wasner in 1977 and one brother and sister-in-law, D. Junior (Ione) Luse. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, August 10, 2015 from 1-2 PM in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will begin at 2 PM in the funeral home with Pastor Ken Woode officiating. Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at Hearth and Home at Harding and Dr. Arthur Win for the excellent care they gave Nancy.
