Maria Theresa Reeve was born in 1861 in Sydney, Australia. She was a daughter of Edward Reeve b 1823 and Catherine McVeigh. She married Adam Stephan in 1882 in Sydney, Australia. They had nine children in the 20 years between 1882 and 1902. She passed away on June 9, 1936 in Mudgee, Australia at the age of 75 and was buried in Northern Suburbs Cemetery. Two of her children that died as infants are buried in Waverly Cemetery with their father Adam Stephan.
