Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon for Mrs. Jaline Rachel Britton at the Ibertson Funeral Home. Rev. A. E. Berglund officiated and burial as made in Greenwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Britton was born in Sommerville, Ind., June 11, 1861 and had lived in the Bemidji area for the past 18 years. She had been in good health until just a few days before her death. Her husband, Theodore Britton preceded her in death. (The Northland Times, Sept 18, 1948)
