LATE LIEUT. R. W. HARRINGTON. D.C.M. Regret was felt at Wallaroo when the news of the death of Lieut. , Reginald W. Harrington, D.C.M.. from wounds, on June 10. was received. The late Lieut. Harrington for some time was tller of the local branch of the National Bank, and afterwards went into buiness 0n his own account. He was the local agent for Dalgety .... of the District, who admired him for his honesty of purpose and straightforwardness. On six occasions he was wounded.

Lieut. Harrington. during his residence at Wallaroo, married tbe youngest daughter of Mr. George CHATFIELD, one of the oldest residents and an ex-Mayor. Mrs. Harrington and a little daughter are at present residing in Adelaide. The gallant soldier was among the first to en-list, and had been through the campaign in Gallipoli & France. His younger brother was killed in action at Gallipoli.
