Mrs. Clark; active in community

Mrs. Miriam Sweet Clark, 79, of 101 Meadow Drive, Elbridge, died yesterday at Auburn Memorial Hospital after a short illness.

She was born in Elbridge and graduated from the Albany Academy for Girls.

Mrs. Clark was the widow of Harold O. Clark.

She was active in many organizations, including the Elbridge Library Association, the American Red Cross, the Elmcrest Children's Center and the Elbridge Community Church.

Surviving are a son, a daughter, two sisters, Mrs. G. Dewey Hughes of San Lorenzo, Calif., and Mrs. Pauline
S. Everett of Camillus; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at the Elbridge Community Church. Burial will be in Elbridge Rural Cemetery.
