William "Wilbert" "Bill" Seamore House was born October 6, 1853 in Perry County, Ohio. He moved with his parents to Nebraska when he was a small boy and then moved to Iowa when a young man.

Bill and Maggie were married January 4, 1881 in Iowa and while living there, three children were born: Florence Susan, Minnie Everline and Charles Ezra.

The family moved to Miranda in 1905, in the fall. Bill worked for Phillip Findeis in the grain elevator and the lumbar yard. A daughter, Elsie Louise was born October 25, 1907, the morning after the family moved into a new cement block house which Bill had built. This house still stands in Miranda.

In 1915, they moved to a farm southwest of Faulkton. It was known as the J.R. Ranch.

At the end of World War I, they moved close to Faulkton. In 1925, Bill and Maggie moved back to Casey, Iowa. Bill died in October of 1948 (Brainerd, MN) and Maggie died in June of 1929. They are both buried in the Damanutha Cemetery near Casey, Iowa.
