Mrs. Jane Louise Crawley, 83, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at her home in Jacksonville, Florida. She was born in Ozark, Alabama to the late Julian and Louise [Deloney] Carswell and had lived in Lake City, Florida for over 40 years. Mrs. Jane was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed fishing, sewing, knitting, and crocheting. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Alex & Jerry Carswell, her daughters, Janet Diane Crawley, and Beverly Ann Crawley, and her loving husband of 47 years, James Crawley (1998).
Survivors include her son, Ted (Starletta) Crawley of Boca Raton, FL; daughter, Neva (Lon) Chatfield of Jacksonville, FL; sisters in law, Joyce and Patsy Carswell; grandchildren, James (Eva) Norris, Julie Geiger, Jimmy Crawley & Brian Crawley; great grandchildren; Brandon Burt, Austin Norris, Brianna Geiger, Madison & Hanna Orsini.
Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 30, 2015 in the chapel of Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Tatem officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to service time (3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.) at the funeral home.
