Jennie L. (Addesa) Grilli, 91, of Manchester, died February 26, 2018 at Elliot Hospital after a period of declining health.

She was born in Boston, MA on August 26, 1926 to Giovanni and Natalina (Rocco) Addesa. She lived in Massachusetts in Medford and Malden for many years before moving to Manchester in the 1990s.

Mrs. Grilli worked at John Hancock Life Insurance Company in Boston. She also sang professionally and was a member of the choir at St. Mary's Church in the North End of Boston. Her passions were cooking, opera and time spent with family.

She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Joseph M. Grilli in 2015.

The family includes three children, Claudia Grilli of Hooksett, David Grilli and his wife, Tracy, of Londonderry and Andrea Chatfield and her husband, Scott, of Bedford; three grandchildren, Victoria Grilli, Luke Grilli and his wife, Erica, and Brendan Chatfield; and one great-grandchild, Gianna Grilli.

SERVICES: Calling hours are Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North Street, Manchester.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 265 S. Main St., Manchester. Committal prayers will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 175 Broadway, Malden, MA.
