MILDRED GRANT YOPP, 28401 Mildred Grant Yopp, 82, of Wallace passed away Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Pender Memorial Hospital. She was born in Statesville, NC on June 13, 1933 to the late Hershel Grant and Sadie Jenkins Grant. She was predeceased by her son Chris Yopp and her brothers, Kenneth Grant and Richard Grant. Mildred is survived by her husband of 64 years, Jerry Yopp; 6 children, Linda Yopp CHATFIELD, Danny Yopp, Richard Yopp, Andrew Yopp, Rebecca Yopp and Angela Johnston, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, and 7 exchange students. The funeral service will be at 2 PM, Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Andrews Market Street Chapel with a visitation time from 1 until 2 PM. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
